Jada Washington graduated Cum Laude from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, earning her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta honor society. She was the College of Liberal Art’s nominee for Outstanding Graduate, one of the University’s highest honors, bestowed upon a graduating senior in recognition of outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements. Washington reigned as New Orleans Most Talked of Club’s (NOMTOC) 47th Queen, representing and upholding the club’s community outreach and advancement values. As Queen, she contributed to and organized several community outreach projects focused on education and the encouragement of amity within the community. Jada’s experience does not revolve solely around pageantry, but also political advocacy in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. She also received the NOMTOC scholarship to further her education and community involvement. Jada is currently a third-year law student at Southern University Law Center where she is a member of the Pro Bono Project and a Student Board Advisor. In continuing her trajectory of being an effective advocate for community initiatives, she is deeply engaged in the mission of Under the Scope to improve health access in the southern region.
